At the Entrepreneur Mentor Society,
we espouse that in life, you get what you give. EMS is so grateful for the generosity and goodwill of its guest speakers, mentors, advisory board members, board of trustees and other ambassadors. The best way we can pay them is to utilize the lessons they teach us and give back to the community just like how they do. Each year, EMS supports other non-profit organization through providing resources, donations, and we volunteer our time to help these organizations.

2006/2007

HERO – The Hunger Relief Organization. Started by Chris Hoskins, the non-profits helps build food banks for impoverished kids in Honduras. They found that by feeding kids, it encouraged school attendance and thus they are making a significant difference.  EMS members donated their time to help with their annual golf charity event which raised over 100k.

Project by Project – this non-profit sponsors another non-profit organization by providing resources so the sponsored non-profit can focus on its mission rather then the back office details of fund raising. EMS helped sell a forth of the tickets to their annual food and wine event as well as donated their time as volunteers.

NFTE – EMS invited teachers from the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship to our EMS sessions to learn from our 35+ guest speakers….

Fulfillment Fund – EMS guest spoke to help high school students interested in entrepreneurship.

APEX – EMS invited the Asian Professional Exchange members to a session to learn more about entrepreneurship
